an albatross dragging the sun
out of waves

empty home –
mom’s lipstick on a teacup
so vivid

after divorce –
the dog carries your slipper
to its nook

sweeping forbidden!
a child with a banner
under cherry blossoms
.
a frog on the moon –
the stork deletes
the news
.
broken biffacals-
I fall in love
at first sight

a pregnant woman enters

the calm sea

turned

into confetti -

rehashing

my bio sketch

a cherry blossom lined

street ...

I and a few petals

on a stretcher

the same man comes

at the same cafe table

for days...

two gulls call

each other

roll of thunder-

a dandelion fluff

leapt in the room

as if my girl

were here

when the sun sinks low

the shadow

of the church steeple

lengthens in the room -

chemo ward

automatic mower -

barley

poppies

lark nest

turned into hay bales
