village on fire –

two storks chop the sky 

with beaks

sat în flăcări –

două berze toacă cerul

                       în ciocuri

hay tea –

as if out of fairy tales

a wild horse

ceai de fâneață –

răsărind ca din povești

                       un cal sălbatic

mother’s portrait –

ink is running down

                       the right eye

portretul mamei –

s-a umezit cerneala

                       în ochiul drept

migration time -

increasingly faint sounds

                      by stethoscope

păsări plecând –

tot mai slabe sunete

în stetoscop

”All of these four haiku keep a high quality, this time too. The second and the 4th haiku are very charming. My favorite is the 2nd. It is fantastic and realistic at the same time.”
